Automobiles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities stated they were notified by a individual who discovered a vehicle in Hanau covered with reddish substance

Around fifty vehicles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they announced in a official communication.

Officers state they were alerted late on Wednesday, when a resident noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored liquid.

The liquid had been applied in the pattern of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered numerous other vandalized vehicles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under regulations banning the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police report initial examinations suggest the fluid was likely blood from a person.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; authorities are presently not cognizant of any physical harm in relation with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were trying "to solve the case" and have appealed to the community for details.

A senior representative said the attack left him without words and had to be solved rapidly.

"This incident affects the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the right-wing attack half a decade ago," he posted on social media, referring to the murder of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on people of migrant background in February 2020.
